Activity of the airport “Ufa” is highly estimated at the forum “Transport of Russia”

The international forum and the exhibition “Transport of Russia” were held in Moscow, the Central Exhibition Hall “Manege”, on November 17-21. The international airport “Ufa” presented Republic of Bashkortostan at the forum. The airport has received the place in the very center of the exposition – in the zone of innovational projects, as one of the intensely developing air companies. The Minister of transport RF Igor Levitin and the Director of “ROSAVIATION” Alexander Neradko have visited the stand of the airport “Ufa” twice, the airport’s press-service reports.

Igor Leviting gathered all heads of the Russian air companies and turned the comers’ attention to the strategy of aviation industry development in our Republic. He mentioned that two local airports were put into operation in Bashkiria in 2010, the air company “ARKAIM” was established and new aircrafts for both local and interregional trips were acquired. The Minister recommended other regions to work up the similar strategies and programs for development of their regional aviation.

“The main aim of the aviation enterprises today is restoration of local and regional flights as well as of the regional airports with their infrastructures” – he said.

The activity of the international airport “Ufa” was highly estimated at the forum. The airport was rewarded with the diploma of the Russian Ministry of transport.
