Rustem Khamitov approved investment projects on erection of big milk farms

The prospects in development of milk cattle-breeding were under discussion on November 17 during the meeting of the President RB Rustem Khamitov with the representatives of Russian and foreign agro-industrial companies.

The Chairman of the Russian Milk Uni on Andre Danilenko told about the project of the holding “Russian Milk Farms” on construction of a big milk center, meant for 1500 heads of cattle, in the north-east of Bashkiria. The amount of investments to the project will be about one billion rubles and the object expected to be put into operation by 2012. The milk will be delivered for the concentrated milk factories and the milk products – for the food market of Bashkortostan and beyond.

The representatives of the Hungarian company “Farm Export” introduced another project to the President RB. The company intends to erect a milk farm in Belokataysky region RB. The project is meant for 1500 heads of cattle. The site of the future object is sel ected and the financing schedule is also under preparation at present time.

The President of Bashkiria approved the introduced projects and called development of milk cattle-breeding a prior direction in development of local agriculture. The President RB also promised the investors to make favorable conditions for their business in the Republic.
