Subsistence wage in Bashkiria will be raised up to 5500 rubles

The subsistence wage in Bashkiria will be raised up to 5500 rubles beginning from January 1, 2011, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov reported on Friday at the meeting of Sterlitamac town council. At present time the subsistence wage makes up slightly more than four thousand rubles.

“This is very important step on the way of improvement of the well-being of our citizens” – The President of Bashkortostan said – “Because the increase of the substance wage entails the rise of the wages in the budget sphere and positively affects first of all the prosperity of socially poorly protected layers of population”.
