The X Russian power-engineering forum is opened in Ufa

The X Russian power-engineering forum is opened in Ufa and several expositions are demonstrated within its frames, including the XVI international specialized exhibition “Ural Power-Engineering-2010”, the specialized exhibition “Energy-Saving”, the V specialized exhibition “Cable, Wires, Fittings” and the II specialized exhibition “Electrotechnology and Lightning Technology”.

The forum is organized by the Bashkir Exhibition Company and the Trade-Industry Chamber RB with the assistance of the Russian Ministry of power engineering, the Ministry of industry and innovational policy RB, JSC “BASHKIRENERGO” and the Light Technical Trade Association.

The President of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB Anatoly Bondaruk and the first deputy Minister of industry and innovational policy RB Khalil Rakhimov have taken part in the solemn opening ceremony. The deputy director of the state power engineering and energy efficiency policy department Stanislaw Dorginkevitch presented the Russian Ministry of power engineering.

“Bashkortostan is considered one of the leading industrial regions of Russia and the share of power-consuming industries in the Republic speaks about its high potential for development of energy-saving. Besides, Bashkortostan possesses high investment attractiveness” – he said – “The Ministry of power engineering supports this important power engineering forum every year since it contributes to consolidation of the interregional interaction”.

Representatives of more than 20 Russian regions arrived in Ufa to take part in the forum: from Moscow, Leningrad, Kaluga, Kurgan, Penza, Samara, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk regions and from Perm region and republics of Mordvinia and Tatarstan. More than 130 enterprises present their innovational technologies and the newest energy-efficient equipment for different branches of industry and housing-communal services and producers make up the lion’s share of the exhibitors.

The conference “Energy-saving, energy-efficiency and innovations in electrical power engineering”, appointed for today, will become the key event of the forum’s business program. The all-Russian conference “Energy-efficiency: problems and solutions” will work on October 20.

For the first time within the frames of the forum the “Bashkir Exhibition Company” and the Charitable Foundation “The Children of the World” will hold the action “The Light of Kindness”, aimed at collection of energy-saving lams. These lamps will be distributed free among the families with many kids. The exhibition will last till October 22.
