JSC “Russian Railways” promises to put Ufa railway station into exploitation in time
The work meeting concerning construction of the first turn of Ufa railway station has taken place in Moscow, JSC “Russian Railways”, headed by the head of the “Russian Railways” railway stations directorate Sergey Abramov. As the chairman of the state construction and architecture committee RB Khalit Makhmudov, who also participated in the meeting, reports, the leadership of JSC “Russian Railways” confirmed the earlier assumed liabilities on putting the first turn of Ufa railway station into exploitation by the end of 2010.
Reconstruction of Ufa railway station started in May 2006 and the major works had to be completed by the end of 2007. But because of the problems with funding, coming from JSC “Russian Railways”, the time of the object’s delivery was dragged out.
The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has inspected the station in August 2010 and set the task to undertake all necessary steps in order to solve this problem, the press-service of the Government RB reported.
