General Director of JSC “UMPO” Alexander Artukhov is announced “The Director of the Year-2010”

The General Director of JSC ‘Ufa Engine Plant” (UMPO) Alexander Artukhov has won the first place in the nomination “The Director of the Year” in the social-economic and trade-union competition 2010, organized by the Machine-Building Trade-Unions Association. Eight directors of the enterprises with the number of workers more than 1000 people have taken part in the competition and the quality of the collective labor agreement, the growth of production volumes, the average wage and the absence of the arrears of wages, employment of the workers and the presence of social objects have become the key criteria in choice of the winner.

Alexander Artukhov heads “UMPO” since March 2006 and is a deputy of the State Council-Kurultay-RB. In 2009 he was rewarded with the rank “The honorable machinist RB”.
