The action “Social basket” starts in Bashkiria

The unstable rise of prices for socially significant foods is observed in the Russian food market now and in this connection the agreement between the branch associations of the agricultural producers, processing enterprises and trade organizations concerning general principles of cooperation for stabilization of prices for socially important foods was concluded and within the frames of this agreement the Bashkir Trade Association initiated the action “Social Basket” beginning from October 1, 2010.

The main goal of the action is the provision of food security, the removal of social intenseness and stabilization of prices for the essential foods. Several trade networks already joined the action.

The trade organizations, taking part in the action, determine themselves with the food prices, included into the list of the essential goods self-dependently and these goods are supplied with the special price-lists in the showcases.
