The publishing house “Kitap” begins production of electronic books

The Bashkir publishing house “KITAP” by Zainab Biisheva begins production of electronic books and the series “The Heroes of Home Front”, available in internet for free downloading , has become the first electronic edition.

In May 2010 the publishing house issued the 20-volume edition “The Heroes of Home Front” by the 65th anniversary of the Victory. The collection contains the list of the citizens of Bashkiria, rewarded with the medal “For valiant labor in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”. Many volumes are already sold out and now it is difficult to find them on sale. But the internet users may download the necessary volumes in PDF format and to find the information about their grandmothers and grandfathers.

As the Bashkir publishing house “KITAP” reports, in accordance with the world and Russian tendencies in the book-printing it is decided to issue the e-books together with the traditional ones – on the paper carriers. For that the publishing house possesses its own base – the site www.kitap-ufa.ru, where one can find much useful information, the novelties in book-printing, price-lists and photographs. Now this list includes the electronic editions too.
