The problems on job placement for disabled people

The job placement for 121 invalids is provided in 2010 within the frames of the Republican program of additional measures for lowering the intenseness in the labor market RB. Only 21 disabled people managed to find jobs for today. About 3600 thousand rubles was allocated by the Republican budget for these purposes, the head of the State Population Employment Service Dept under the Ministry of labor and population social protection RB Timirkhan Bikkinin reported at today’s meeting in the Government RB.

“In a whole there are more than two thousand registered invalids and 648 people have jobs” – he reported – “128 people were sent to the professional training courses”.

Timirkhan Bikkinin added the local employers weren’t interested in giving the employment to invalids and it was one of the main problems.

“At the same time many invalids also display no interest in the program” – the head of the department said – “They prefer pensions and disability grants”.

The Vice-Premier of the Government RB Fidus Yamaltdinov turned the attention of the comers that the results on the job placement for invalids were practically equal to zero.

“Only 21 people of 121 have received jobs” – he stated – “It is too little. We have to activate our efforts and this task is very hard because for many years these people used to the passive way of life and sometimes it was too difficult for them to change. Nonetheless our duty is to help them in finding the way out of this situation”.
