Construction of the sheltered ice-ring is close to the end in Sibay

The construction of the sheltered ice-ring with manufactured ice is found at the final stage in the town of Sibay. The new sports object will become the profiled center for training of the Olympic reserve.

“The opening of the ice-ring is scheduled on October 2010” – the senior advisor of the Ministry of youth policy and sport RB Rimma Cherednik tells – “Within the frames of the federal program “Development of physical culture and sport in Russian Federation in 2006-2015” 60 million rubles was allocated for erection of this object. Other 128 million was allocated from the Republican budget”.

The ice-ring is meant for doing hockey and short-track skating for the pupils of the children’s sports schools. The citizens of the town may also use the arena in definite hours.

The size of the ice-ring is 30x60 meters. The two-storied building with the additional apartments and the training hall is attached to it.
