Boris Titov: we come out for modernization and efficient development of business undertakings

“For more stable development of our economics we must have a powerful sector of small and medium business but it is so not everywhere. In Bashkortostan 20 big enterprises form about 70% of the regional budget but excessive centralization of the economics is fraught with serious risks” – this is the opinion of the chairman of the all-Russian public organization “Business Russia” Boris Titov, stated at the news-conference in the news-agency “Bashinform”, held yesterday after the official meetings.

As the chairman of “Business Russia” believes, the problems, hampering development of small and medium business in the country, are practically the same everywhere. Many abuses occur during parceling and it is necessary to establish severe control in this sphere in order to stop corruption. The lands should be allocated to the real investors and not to the affiliated companies”.

“We were talking with your President about favorable investment climate” – Boris Titov said – “and that the available institutes for support of business should work more efficiently. There are enough of such organizations here: the venture funds, the Fund for business undertakings support and development and public business organizations and now we should find the mechanisms to make the structures work in reality. We were also talking about erection of cheap dwelling, about work of the trade networks and the bank sphere”.

Boris Titov also reported that after the meeting with the President RB and signing of the framework cooperation agreement he held the meeting with the representatives of local business community.

“The business people of Bashkiria were interested in various questions – both global and narrow” – he said – “Everyone has his own problems and it is quite clear”.

It should be mentioned that the V annual business forum for the enterprises of the real sector of economics “Modernization” will be held in Moscow on September 13-14. This is the joint project of “Business Russia” with the Russian Ministry of economic development and Bashkortostan has become the first region Boris Titov visited within the frames of the preparations for the Moscow forum.
