Ufa’s industrial production index reached 108,3%

The index of industrial production in Ufa made up 108,3% for the first six months of 2010, the head of Ufa administration industry department Alexander Zarubin reported today. According to him the overall output of the large and medium industrial enterprises of the city made up more than 193 billion rubles – much more than for the same period of time in 2009.

“Stable growth of the industrial production index is observed in all branches, except the food industry” – M-r Zarubin said – “the Ufa’s refineries work quite successfully. As compared with the first half of 2009 the volume of the processed oil has increased by almost 7% and the output of diesel fuel increased by 21%”.

The index of industrial production in the chemical industry made up 127% thanks to the JSC “PHARMSTANDARD-Ufa-Vita”. JSC “UFAORGSINTEZ” and the company “IMMUNOPREPARAT” also worked profitably.

In the sphere of production of transport vehicles “The Bashkir trolley-bus plant” has shown the best result – for six months it has produced 70 trolley-buses. For the first six months of 2009 this figure was equal to just 31 machines.

The index of industrial production in the woodworking industry has increased by 15%, making up 112%.

The number of unprofitable enterprises has come down. At the beginning of the year there were 20 such enterprises in Ufa. Now there are only 13 left. The situation with payment of wages is becoming better too and now only the Experimental Plant of the Academy of Sciences RB has the arrears before its workers among all big and medium enterprises of Ufa.
