Neftekamsk Car Factory has received the Cup and Gold Medal at the International Bus Salon in Nizhni Novgorod

JSC «Neftekamsk Car Factory» has received international awards. At the first International Bus Salon «Busworld Russia» taking place fr om June 30 till July 2 in Nizhni Novgorod the enterprise was handed over the Cup and the Gold Medal as the leader of bus manufacturing in Russia.

The forum was organised by Busworld International Limited (Belgium) with assistance of the International Road Transport Union (IRU), which hold the largest exhibitions worldwide.

For the first "Busworld" Bus Salon took place in 1971 in the Belgian city of Kortrejk. The list of cities wh ere this exhibition took place include Mumbai (India), Shanghai (China), Istanbul (Turkey), the San-Paulo (Brazil) and others. And here for the first time the salon was held in Russia.

Manufacturers of passenger buses, trolley buses and chassis from 13 countries gathered at the exhibition: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, Switzerland, Belgium, Israel, Germany, China, Sweden, Turkey, France, Finland, and also delegations from more than 30 countries of the world. Production Group "GAS", «Minsk Car Factory" (MAZ), MAN, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Youtong and many other domestic and foreign companies presented their production.

As we were informed in JSC "NefAZ", the Neftekamsk Car Factory has developed one of the most scale expositions at the exhibition. Here the whole line-up of buses co-produced by VDL- NefAZ was presented: tourist NefAZ -52999, long-distance NefAZ -52996, city 15-metres NefAZ -52998, multiple - unit NefAZ -52995. Besides, the city model NefAZ -5299-30-32 (with the improved interior), suburban NefAZ -5299-11-32, suburban bus with the gas engine, the long-distance NefAZ -5299-37-32 with the updated external design.
