Average grain yield in the republic is predicted within 10 centners/hectare

According to preliminary forecasts of the Ministry of Agriculture RB, average grain yield in Bashkortostan will be not above 10 centners per hectare.

— In 10 days we will have exact balance of grain, but already today it is clear that the grain will be enough only for forages and seeds, — Shamil Vahitov, the first vice-premier, the Minister of Agriculture of the republic said at the meeting in the Government RB. – 500 thousand tons for seeds, one million tons for forage.

Crops of spring corn in the region seriously suffered because of drought. The government instructed the Administration of Rosselhoznadzor on RB to strengthen the control over sales of the grain grown up in the republic.

— It is necessary to register the grain, which is available in farms, grain-collecting stations and machine and tractor stations. In no event, it can be sold beyond the republic, — the head of the Ministry of Agriculture RB said.
