The largest deposits of non-ferrous metals are mined in Bashkortostan

About 200 million tons – this is the generally estimated ore reserve at the deposits “Ubileinoe”and “Podolskoe”, mined in Bashkortostan at present time. These deposits are considered one of the biggest deposits of non-ferrous metals in Russia. The licenses for the mining of these deposits belong to the company “Bashkir Copper”.
As the deputy head of the subsurface use agency RB Alexander Chernov reported to the news agency "Bashinform", the deposit "Ubileinoe" includes six ore beds. Three beds will be mined by the open-pit method and other beds – by the underground method. Copper, zinc, gold and silver are the main precious components of this ore. The ores at the deposit “Podolskoe” also contain substantial reserves of these metals.
