Fodder storage campaign starts in Bashkortostan

Republican agrarians begin store up fodders. Because of the spring shortage of moisture the Ministry of agriculture RB recommends the villagers to start the mowing season already now. The villagers hope the grass harvest will be rather rich thanks to the recent heavy rains. Republican agronomists estimate the grass harvest at 75-80 centners from one hectare. In 2009 the crop capacity was at least 140 centners.

At present time the herbage in different farmings is uneven but in order to provide the cattle with fodder in winter period it is necessary to store up at least 32,5 centners of fodders per one conditional head of cattle.
