Sales of Halal meat products will start in the main markets of Ufa soon

Sales of Halal meat products will start in the Central market of Ufa soon and Durtulinsky meat-packing plant, the trade house “Avdon” and the Bashkir poultry farm by Majit Gafuri will be the main suppliers of the permissible meat.

Before going on sale the fresh meat will pass special processing and veterinary check-up in the specially equipped meat-packing workshop. There it will be cut into pieces, packed and supplied with the corresponding certificate.

As the head of the Halal standard committee under the Clerical Muslim Dept RB Timur Shangareev says, this technology allows completely excluding those violations, which up to now existed in the trade with Halal products, and is able to guarantee the observation of Islamic canons during sales.

In the nearest future the Halal meat shops will be opened in all Ufa markets and along with the beef the fresh mutton and poultry meat, including turkey meat, will appear in sale there.
