No cases of tick encephalitis are registered in Bashkortostan

Bashkortostan is the territory, considered precinctive to the tick virus encephalitis and the cases of encephalitis sickness are registered in Bashkortostan every year, the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights in RB reports. In 2009 there were 75 such cases. The immunizations from virus tick encephalitis are held regularly and 31200 people have been inoculated in 2009.

In 2010 the situation with encephalitis looks favorable and no cases of the tick encephalitis are registered in Bashkortostan at present moment. By May 20 5276 people, having suffered from stings of the ticks, have visited the clinics and children made up 20%.
