About potential of the bank application of the social card RB

For today JSC “URALSIB” and JSC “BASHPROMBANK” are the participants of the automated information system “The Social Card of Bashkortostan”. The decision concerning participation of the Russian Savings Bank in the project is also reached.

The bank application of the card provides the additional services for its holders. As the news-service of the National Bank RB explains, the social card RB is a bank card of the international pay-system “Master Card”, so its bank application allows the card owner making use of the full list of “Master Card” services. Thus, one may pay for goods and services on the territory of the whole of Russia with the help of the card. Same can be done abroad and at that rubles on the card are automatically converted into the currency of the country of the residence. The card allows paying for housing and communal services, mobile communication services etc cashless through the pay-machines of the banks – the participants of the project. The card can be also used in the sphere of internet banking.

Its is also easy to draw cash in the offices of the banks – participants of the project and the banks – partners of the project – at that no commission fee is paid. The pay-machines of other banks will also provide you with the cash but in this case the commission fee is obligatory. The bank application allows receiving the prescribed social payments on the card: pensions, compensations, subsidies etc. The interest is charged on the card’s money. Besides, the card owner may fill up the account self-dependently. One more capability of the card is receiving of the credit “Overdraft”.

As the news-service of the National Bank RB reports, the functions of the social card RB are found in permanent development, i.e. the bank application will be certainly widened.

At present moment more than 50 thousand social cards are distributed in Bashkortostan. Now the card holders may activate six card applications: transport, medical, bank, pension, tax and discount applications.
