Inflation in the Republican consumer market made up 3,7%

In the first quarter of the year the inflation in the Republican consumer market made up 3,7%. In 2009 it was at the level of 4,3% on the same period o time.

According to information of the Bashkir State Statistics Committee the prices for foods have grown up by 4,4%, nonfoods – by 1% and services – by 6,9%.

The statisticians report the cost of some milk products increased by 2-9,8%, cheese –by 14,3%, butter – by 9,1%, sunflower oil – by 3%, granulated sugar – by 7%, beer – by 18,9%, vegetables and fruits – by 19% on average and eggs – 1,2 times.

At the same time smoked meat, wines, soft drinks, ice-cream, herring, macaroni, conserved vegetables, wheat flour, chicken and poultry delicatessen and salmon caviar have become cheaper. Prices for bread and bakeries remained stable. Tobacco has become by 4,5% more expensive and certain growth of prices (1-2,9%) is observed in sphere of electrical goods, cars, oil products, clothes, shoes, writing materials, printed editions, toys and wrist-watches.

In a whole the price index of the producers of industrial goods has made up 102,8% in the first quarter of the year (117% in 2009). The price index of agricultural producers is found at the level of 122,5% (101,3% in 2009).
