Kazakh medics will use Ufa vaccines

About 50 thousand packages of antirabic vaccine and more than 35 thousand packages of diphtheria-tetanus anatoxin will be delivered for Kazakhstan from the capital RB in 2010.

The concentrated antirabic vaccine is meant for prophylactics of the most dangerous virus disease – hydrophobia. The vaccine was designed at the enterprise “IMMUNOPREPARAT”. It is produced here since 1987. By its immune-biological properties the vaccine can be compared with the best foreign analogues and its usage in the practical medicine allows reducing the dose of the preparation three times and shortening the course of inoculations from 27 to 6 injections.

According to the World Health Organization’s information more than 55 thousand people in the world die because of hydrophobia every year and hydrophobia again becomes a serious problem for the public health protection.
