Manufacturing of gas-silicate blocks will be launched in Ufimsky region in May

The President RB Murtaza Rakhimov, the Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev and the Minister of regional development of Russia Viktor Basargin visited the plant for production of ferroconcrete items and gas-silicate blocks in Ufimsky region of Bashkortostan today.

At present time the second stage – the erection of the workshop for production of the gas-silicate blocks – runs at the plant and it will be first industrial production of such sort in Bashkortostan. The market prospects of this novelty are rather promising because low building is actively developed in Bashkortostan as well as in other regions of Russia and the gas-silicate blocks represent a good building material for erection of individual cottages.

As the plant’s chief engineer Marat Shaihutdinov reported to the guests, the workshop should be put into exploitation in May and at present time erection of the equipment was running here. The production capacity of the workshop will make up 230 thousand cubic meters of gas-silicate blocks annually. The first turn of the plant has been put into exploitation in 2008 – this is the workshop for production of ferroconcrete items with the capacity 200 thousand cubic meters annually. 30 people work here and after the second turn is launched the number of the workplaces will be increased to 200. All equipment at the plant is of foreign origin: German, Belgian and Dutch. The aggregate volume of investments made up 2,5 billion rubles.

The guests became acquainted with the process of production of the ferroconcrete plates and blocks and inspected the abuilding workshop. The Minister of regional development was interested in the cost of the ready-made production and the raw materials. This is rather important competitive advantage of the Bashkir products. The raw materials are of local origin, so the cost is lower than among the majority of the competitors. The Bashkir products turn out to be cheaper than the Moscow ones even with the delivery included. It is of no surprise the plant has plenty of orders.

Viktor Basargin mentioned the full production chain was made in Bashkortostan in sphere of low building: the Republic mines the raw material and here it is used for manufacturing of all necessary building materials and rather cheap dwelling is erected here too and the Republican program “My Own House” contributes to that.
