The capital of Republican banks increased by 9,2% in 2009

The own means (capitals) of the Republican banks in 2009 increased by 9,2% up to 5,4 billion rubles. The assets of the regional bank sector grew up by 47,7% - up to 322 billion rubles. The remains of the bank credit investments to economics at the beginning of 2010 made 242,9 billion rubles, including 8,6% (20,9 billion rubles) of overdue indebtedness. More than 307,8 billion rubles have been give out to the Republican borrowers in 2009 – by 38,7% less than in 2008.

At the beginning of this year the bank sector of Bashkortostan is represented by 69 banks, including 11 Republican ones. The offices of four new credit organizations were opened on the territory RB in 2009. Seven banks stopped their activity in our Republic. The total number of the bank offices on the territory RB in 2009 was reduced by 67units - to1276.
