European Union looks for innovational know-how in coal industry in Russia

Within the frames of the program “Environment protection and rational natural resources management (including power-engineering)” the European Commission announced the contest of projects on cooperation in sphere of ecologically clean coal technologies and carbonic acid catching and storage.

The contest’s geography covers Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, South Africa, India and Indonesia. The activity of the projects, introduced to the contest, as it is stated by the steering committee, should be related to development of the potential and investigation of ecologically reasonable technologies.

National and regional organizations, involved in coal industry, as well as the coal industry enterprises, coal institutes and research centers are welcomed.
