The volumes of natural persons’ bank deposits in Bashkortostan grew up by 21,8%

During the crisis the citizens RB often chose the banks for keeping of their temporarily free means and growing interest rates served as a stimulating factor. As a result the summary volume of the natural persons’ deposits in 2009 has grown up by 21,8%. At the beginning of 2010 the sum of the deposits made 99,9 billion rubles, the news-service of the National Bank RB reported.

The scopes of the long-term deposits (for the term more than one year) stably exceeds that of the short-term ones (less than one year): 63,8 billion rubles against 36,1 billion correspondingly.

The confidence in Russian ruble, seriously shaken during the crisis, begins to restore and certain lowering of the share of deposits in foreign currency proves that. The sum of currency deposits in rubles is equal to 12,2 billion rubles – by 9,4% less than one year earlier and it makes 12,3% of the total sum of the deposits.
