JSC “Soda” is called the best chemical enterprise of Sterlitamac

JSC “Soda” is acknowledged the winner of the city competition between the enterprises of chemical branch in 2009.

“Chemistry and oil-chemistry remain the most efficient branches of the city economics and it is pleasant to know that our enterprise stands on the leading positions” – The General Director of “Soda” Sergey Lobastov says – “2009 turned out to be rather successful for “Soda”. We’ve managed to preserve the main showings of our activity at rather high level. The company will continue technical rearmament in 2010 and in sphere of technology “Soda” has to stand at the level of the international soda ash producers.

“Soda” remains the largest and the most conscientious tax-payer of the city of Sterlitamac. The sum of tax payments to the budgets of all levels has exceeded two billion rubles in 2009.

JSC “Soda” allocated 266,2 million rubles for environmental actions in 2009. The company is actively busy with redevelopment of old open pits, old city scrap-heaps and the lands, useless for agriculture. “Soda” optimizes the usage of primary and secondary energy resources. The company has designed and successfully applies the technology of the usage of low-potential heat of industrial sewage (distilled liquid) and it means that more than 120 thousand gig-calories are returned to production as the secondary heat and this heat is used for heating of the company’s workshops and production lines.

High quality of the plant’s products was marked by the contest commissions of the program “100 best goods of Russia” and of the international exhibition “The all-Russian Brand (The III Millennium) – the Quality Sign of the XXI century” in 2009.
