Production of foodstuffs in Bashkortostan has grown up in 2009

The index of production in processing in 2009 made 94,5%, as compared with the level of the previous year. As the Bashkir State Statistics Committee reported, production of leather, leather goods and footwear in 2009 increased by 7,1%, transport vehicles and equipment – by 0,6% and other productions – by 5,5%. The index of oil products production remained at the level of 2008. The depth of oil processing varies between 77,3 and 86,7% at different enterprises and in Russia this index made 71,9% in January-November 2009.

Production of vegetable oil is raised 1,5 times, macaroni – by 35,1% and mayonnaise – by 14,3%. The output of conserved milk, meat, mineral waters, whole milk products and cheeses increased by 4-8,5% on average. Production of medicines and trolley-buses is increased 1,6 times as well as the production of footwear.

In spite of the crisis the production of new sorts of industrial production was mastered in Bashkortostan. Thus, the poultry farm by M. Gafuri started production of turkey meat. At present time the farm produces every fourth ton of turkey meat in the Republic.

JSC “NEFAZ” started joined production of the harvesters “Challenge” with the company “AGGO Corporation”. 20 harvesters have already been assembled. The company “LASSELBERGER” started production of ceramic tile for floors and interior wall tiling.

At the same negative dynamics is still present on some kinds of economic activity.
