“NEFAZ” finished 2009 without losses

JSC “NEFAZ” has finished 2009 with no losses and this is the main outcome of the last year – other parameters are still specified.

It should be noted that in the holding “KAMAZ” only “NEFAZ” and the plant of trailers from Stavropol finished the last year with the positive balance and in whole the leading company has suffered great damage.

Government RB gave large support to JSC “NEFAZ”, i.e. it placed the public contracts for production of the city buses for the state unitary enterprise “BASHAVTOTRANS” and organized the assembly production of the harvesters “Challenger” on the plan’s site.

As a result the volumes of output at JSC “NERFAZ” in 2009 made 5,6 billion rubles – 55% as compared with the level of 2008. It can be considered as rather good showing, taking the severest crisis in Russian motor-car production into account.

The situation in January 2010 looks better than in 2009. According to preliminary estimations the output of the plant is expected at the level of 243 million rubles – 61 million rubles more than in January 2009, but as specialists say it is too difficult to forecast now who the events will go in the motor-car market of the country.
