All Russian banks will be connected to the new rapid pay-system by August

By August 2010 all Russian commercial banks will be connected to the system of the rapid bank payments of the Central Bank of Russia.

This is a new kind of pay-systems, in which accounting happens practically the same moment as the charge-off and the operation time makes just several seconds. In accordance with the federal law “The Central Bank of Russian Federation” the overall term of cashless settlement payments mustn’t exceed two workdays if a payment is arranged within the borders of one region, and five days during the interregional transfers inside the country. But bank clients often need to arrange a payment in the shorter terms and in this connection the Central Bank of Russia declared introduction of the system of rapid payments one of the strategic directions in development of the Russian bank system.

The news-service of the National Bank RB reports at present time the Russian Savings Bank, “URALSIB”, “GASPROMBANK”, “PROMSVYAZBANK”, “AF Bank”, “BASHCOMSNABBANK”, “The Regional Development Bank”, “UNIASTRUM Bank”, “AKIBANK”, “TRANSCREDITBANK”, “URALCAPITALBANK”, “REIFFEIZENBANK”, “CENTERCOMBANK”, “Devon-Credit”, “VTB”, “BTA”, “FORSTADT” and “MBRR” work with the rapid pay system on the territory of our region. In accordance with the decree of Russian Government “The plan of actions on establishment of the international financial center in Russian Federation” all banks of Russia have to become the participants of this system by August 2010.
