351,5 million rubles allocated for support of stock breeding in 2009
2,9 thousand heads of pedigree cattle have been purchased in Bashkortostan on leasing terms for the sum of 248,6 million rubles in 2009 and in a whole for support of stock breeding the budgets of both levels allocated 351,5 million rubles.
According to information of Ministry of agriculture RB the agricultural enterprises have acquired more than 10 thousand heads of cattle in 2009. 2055 heads of milk and meat cattle have been imported from Australia, Hungary, Finland and Slovakia.
The Coordination council on stock breeding under Government RB was established last year. The uniform information and business space for consulting services and recommendations on further development and introduction of progressive experience will be formed with its help.
At present time the uniform Republican pedigree cattle database is under formation in the Republic and the regional IT cattle-breeding center is established in the staff of the state farm “BASHPLEMSERVICE”.
