Financial support of peasant-farm holdings grows up

Within the frames of the Republican program on development of small and medium business 141 economic agents, engaged in agricultural production, have received financial support in 2009. The overall sum of state support made about 42 million rubles.

According to information of Ministry of agriculture RB the share of rural business undertakings in economics RB grows every year. At present time 4214 peasant-farm holdings and 263 individual agricultural businessmen work in Bashkortostan.

Bashkir farmers cultivate 528 thousand hectares of their own and leased lands and individuals – 160 thousand hectares. The abovementioned farmings keep about 1,2 million heads of cattle, 403,6 thousand pigs, 892,8 thousand cheep and goats, 112,9 thousand horses, 7,1 million heads of poultry and 262,6 thousand bee-families. The share of peasant-farm holdings and private auxiliary farmings in overall agricultural output in Bashkortostan makes more than 60%.

The agricultural consumer co-operatives are busy with sales and processing of the agricultural production, manufactured by the villagers. At present time there are 73 actively working agricultural consumer co-operatives in the Republic.
