All-Russian population census will last 12 days

The Russian Government determined the order of the all-Russian population census-2010. The population census will be lasting on the whole territory of Russia during 12 days: from October 14 to October 25. According to the Russian State Statistics Committee in some hard-to-access remote regions the citizens will be enumerated ahead of the schedule. The first pre-term census will be held in some areas of Yamal-Nenets autonomous district already in April. In the nearest future the governmental commission has to determine how the servicemen and members of their families, people, living in closed towns. and prisoners will be enumerated.

The totals of the all-Russian census will be summed up stage-by-stage till the end of 2012. The first data will be published in April 2011 and the last volume with the census’s results will be issued at the end of 2013.

The total sum of the means, allocated by the federal exchequer for organization and holding the all-Russian population census-2010, has to make 10,5 billion rubles.

Nine months are left till the beginning of the census.
