The amount of state duty for registration of foreign passport to be increased

The alterations to the Russian Tax Code will come into effect on January 29 and in accordance with these alterations the amount of the state duty for either acquisition of Russian nationality or for leaving this nationality will be increased.

The amount of the state duty for registration of foreign passports will be also raised. The registration of the old style foreign passport will cost one thousand rubles for adults and 300 rubles for kids, younger than 14. The foreign passport with the biometrical data will cost 2,5 thousand rubles for adults and 1200 rubles for kids. It is interesting the period of validity for the passport with the e-data will be increased up to ten years according to the Russian legislation and the state duty for registration of such passports will be raised up to two thousand rubles.

Foreigners have to pay 600 rubles for one-time Russian visa and one thousand rubles for the multiple boundary intersection. The license for hiring of foreign labor force will cost six thousand rubles. Foreigner or a person without citizenship may get work permit, paying two thousand rubles.
