The number of passengers, leaving Ufa airport for abroad, increased

The number of the passengers having left Ufa airport for abroad in 2009, increased. In a whole 270 thousand passengers, leaving for foreign countries, have been served in 2009, the news-service of the international airport “Ufa” reported. The execution of plan on air flights in this sphere, made 122%. This is by 8,9% more than for 12 months in 2008. Specialists explain this fact by the growing interest of Russians in the rest with the tourist permits to foreign countries, mainly offered by the tourist companies.

In a whole the international airport “Ufa” has served one million 225 thousand passengers in 2009 – by 124 thousand or by 9,3% less than in 2008 and the economic crisis is the main reason of lowering of the general volume of air operations in the Republic.
