JSC “BASHNEFT” begins auctions in interregional oil-gas exchange

JSC “BASHNEFT” begins auctions in the interregional oil-gas complex exchange in the section “oil products”. In October the company was accredited as a participant of the oil-gas exchange. Now it is ready to begin sales.

At today’s trade session “BASHNEFT” intends to sell more than two thousand tons of oil products – the benzenes Premium Euro-95, Regular-92, Normal-80 and winter diesel fuel.

“The exchange is very important for us because here the public price indices are formed and we regard this instrument as one of the channels for sales of our products” – the General Director of JSC “BASHNEFT” Viktor Khoroshavtsev stated – “Though the volumes of oil product sales today aren’t high we consider this instrument very important for the oil product market because it makes the conditions for higher formational openness and transparency of the Russian oil product market in a whole”.

The news-service of JSC “BASHNEFT” reports at present time the company prepares documentation for accreditation as a participant of the Saint-Petersburg international commodity exchange.
