Four scientific-technical projects received support of the Venture Fund RB

Joint meeting of the Venture Fund RB and the management company “Savings and Investments” re investment of scientific-technical projects has taken place today in Ufa, the Ministry of industry and external economic relations RB.

The chairman of the Venture Fund’s tutorial council, the deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB Uri Pustovgarov, chairman of the state business undertaking and trade committee RB Rinat Zainullin, executive director of the Fund for assistance to development of venture investments to small enterprises in scientific-technical sphere RB Gulshat Shakirova, a member of the board of directors of the management company “Savings and Investments” Oleg Diachenko and others took part in the meeting. The heads of the small enterprises, whose claims were approved by the tutorial council and by the representatives of the management company, were invited too.

As Uri Pustovgarov mentioned, the idea of the Venture Fund RB is to make any noteworthy scientific and technical designs a reality, i.e. to make the conditions for realization of these projects on the territory of Bashkortostan. At present time the Fund possesses the sum at 400 million rubles and according to the asset management regulations the sum of investments for one project can’t exceed 60 million rubles.

In October-November 2009 the Fund jointly with the management company has considered about 20 projects and nine projects were approved. After preliminary selection of the projects four enterprises were admitted to the meeting: the company “Kern” with the project “Electrical-hydraulic equipment for layer tests”, the company “The plant of basalt pipes” with the project on production of modern basalt-glass-fiber pipes in Bashkortostan and two other companies also with their promising projects. The representatives of these four companies made the presentations of their projects during the meeting.
