Special anti-fire mode is declared in Bashkortostan

The Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev signed the decree about introduction of special anti-fire mode on the territory of Bashkortostan since December 14, 2009 to January 20, 2010.

“In the days of New Year celebration situation becomes more intense. For the last three years 448 fires with 87 fatalities have occurred in the Republic within the period from December 30 to January 10” – Rail Sarbaev said at the last meeting in Sibay and mentioned this situation demanded cardinal solution including toughening of the control over entertaining establishments.

From the point of view of the last tragic events in Perm the problem of fire safety becomes especially important and certain restrictions on pyrotechnics usage during holding solemn and other cultural New Year programs will be imposed in Bashkortostan. The usage of fireworks in apartments will be strictly prohibited.
