Nominal incomes grow up but real go down

The average monthly population incomes in January-September 2009 made 14937 rubles and average wage was equal to 14606,5 rubles. Ministry of economic development RB made these calculations, correcting for the price index. Therefore the real disposable population monetary incomes reduced by 0,2% and real wages – by 2,6%.

Overdue arrears of wages remain one of the most actual social problems for today.

“On November 21 the amount of arrears of wages in Bashkortostan made about 38 million rubles” – the deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of labor and population social protection RB Fidus Yamaltdinov said at the zone meeting in Salavat – “This is 1,2 times lower than at the beginning of this month. At that 95% of all arrears fall on processing productions (49,8%) and building (45,2%)”.

“Arrears of wages appear at the enterprises because of the shortage of their own means” – Fidus Yamaltdinov stated – “the arrears of wages from the budgets of all levels are absent”.
