Rail Sarbaev has held the meeting re development of the Central and the Southern economic zones RB

Social-economic development of the Central and the Southern economic zones RB was under discussion at the meeting in Salavat under chairmanship of the Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev today.

These economic zones form nearly one fourth of the Republican territory, including 14 municipal and three city districts. Here the largest industrial enterprises of the region are located, such as “SALAVATNEFTEORGSINTEZ”, “Soda”, “Caoutchouc”, KUMERTAUSSKOE aviation production enterprise” and others. Correspondingly the activity of these zones in many respects determines the situation in economics of Bashkortostan in a whole.

The world crisis negatively affected the activity of separate branches of industry and industrial enterprises and financial well-being of many citizens. Nonetheless its negative influence was smoothed: certain timely measures have been undertaken and as a result some macroeconomic indices in Bashkortostan exceed the all-Russian level. The Republic has suffered from the crisis less than many other regions but certain problems are still present and the main problem is the situation at JSC “SALAVATNEFTEORGSINTEZ”.

“This enterprise put the whole Republic on a spot” – Rail Sarbaev said – “The enterprise gives 88% of losses in production of oil products and 35% of losses of the Republic in a whole though it is good they have no debts on wages and obligatory payments”.

In a whole all industrial enterprises in both zones stay afloat for today.

“Enterprises and organizations of these municipal and city districts provided 20% of the Republican shipped off output volume” – the first deputy Minister of economic development RB Marat Minasov reported – “The share of housing, put into operation by them, made 32%”.

Several territories of the Central and the Southern economic zones show stable indices but this stability is rather relative because, for example, Sterlitamacsky region stably holds the first-the second places and Archangelsky region is “stably” found at the tail-end.

According to information of Ministry of economic development RB situation in Bashkir economics gradually becomes more and more stable. Thus, in October the index of the gross regional product volume made 97,5%. This is the maximal index in 2009. The index of industrial production made 98,8%. The index of ten months is 94,1%.
