Approaches to development of consumer services are under discussion in Ufa

Development of consumer services in our Republic has become the theme of the scientific-practical seminar in Ufa. Businessmen, working in this sphere, are invited to the discussion and specialists of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service, Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency, Republican ministries and departments and Ufa administration come out as the experts.

“This is the main direction in development of small business and this direction has good prospects” – the deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of industry and external economic relations RB Uri Pustovgarov thinks – “Development of the society is directly connected with development of small and medium business today and we’ll fail to achieve any principal changes in Russian economics without it”.

Small business forms 18-20% of the gross internal product today but in opinion of the Vice-Premier this figure looks unreal and one can definitely say talk about only 10-15%. In order to make Russian economics stable the share of small business has to be at the level of minimum 30-40% but in order to get this 30-40% the serious state aid is absolutely necessary.

“The main task of the state bodies is making the infrastructure and mechanisms of state aid for small business but what is being done at the state level now can be called just the half-measures – nothing’s changed cardinally and business undertakings today is the most problematic direction” – Uri Pustvgarov said.

The Vice-Premier told about the sums, allocated for the state aid. Half a billion rubles was directed from the Republican budget for small business this year and approximately the same sum was obtained from the federal budget on the terms of co-financing.

“The sum of the applications submitted made 2,5 billion rubles but the assistance was rendered just to 740 people of more than two thousand, having asked for help. People have the impression that the finances are present but few were able to take advantage of this money”.

But in a whole this year will bring its fruits in the future, the deputy Prime-Minister is certain, First, it gave the experience and much information for reflections and analysis and, second, the crisis will force federal authorities to generate new ideas to solve painful social problems in Russian mono-towns.
