New packaging-pallet line is launched at JSC “UFAORGSINTEZ”
New packaging-pallet line “TOPAS-MOLLERS” was put into operation at JSC “UFAORGSINTEZ” today. This is the newest German line for packaging of high pressure polyethylene. The necessity to modernize local production became urgent long ago. The old Swedish line demanded much manual labor and its capacity was just about three tons of output per hour. The new line is able to pack 15 tons of granulated polyethylene for the same period of time. The production capacity increased 5 times. Manual labor is completely excluded and the line is fully automatic. The machinist controls the process and launches the line with the help of finger-tip controls.
The economy is to the fore because after the German equipment was put into operation, the necessity to purchase the packaging materials has become no longer relevant and Bashkir chemists spent up to one million EUR every year for these purchases. Now they use their own packaging, which has the same quality and is much cheaper.
The new line cost 38 million rubles for the enterprise. It was purchased, using only the own means of the plant, without attraction of additional investments. According to preliminary calculations the equipment has to be repaid in three-four years. The demand in granulated polyethylene is very high: it is widely used in production of the goods of national consumption.
The executive Vice-President of JSC “BASHNEFT” Vladimir Kasterin has taken part in the ceremony of the line’s launching:
“This line is rather small but valuable bargain” – he said- “It contributes to economic growth of the whole enterprise and purchased within the frames of the program on production modernization. In the nearest future we intend to launch one more unique for Russia project – the unit for slow coking. Realization of these programs will allow Bashkir refineries to preserve the leading positions in the branch”.
