Gas-turbine drive AL-31CT helped to save 300 million cubic meters of gas for 15 years

The gas-turbine drives AL-31CT, serially produced by JSC “Ufa engine plant” (UMPO), are used at “GASPROM” compressor stations during already 15 years. The drive possesses optimal ecological parameters thanks to the low-emission combustion chamber, designed by the scientific production company “Saturn”, electrical starter and low level of oil irretrievable losses.

The news-service of “Saturn” reports at present time the gas-turbine drive AL-31CT is used at eight compressor stations and 35 gas-pumping stations.

For 15 years of exploitation the drives AL-31CT have transported more than 400 billion cubic meters of natural gas and the gas economy, used as a fuel in the drives, made more than 300 million cubic meters.

At present time the daughter company of “Saturn” – the JSC “Saturn-Gas Turbines” designed and manufactured a pilot model of the new gas-pumping unit “ARLAN” with the gas-turbine drive AL-31CT, produced in Ufa.
