Ural Industrial Forum is opened in Ufa

The Ural Industrial Forum is opened in Ufa Sports palace today and this is a new format, uniting the traditional interregional specialized exhibitions “Welding and control”, “Metal working: lathes, instruments, technologies” and “Woodworking and house-building”. In 2009 the exposition is opened for the 13th time.

The importance of the forum was marked at the official opening ceremony. The technical director of the Welding and Control National Association Alexander Chuprak has said it is good that not only new technologies but renovations are demonstrated at the exhibition too, since the problem of restoration is as actual as never before in the country and appearance of new methods of reanimation of worn-out metal constructions is the sign that engineering ideas are still alive in Russia.

The forum is organized by “The Exhibition Center BASHEXPO”, Trade-Industry Chamber RB and JSC “SVARTEX” with the assistance of Ministry of industry and external economic relations RB, Ministry of building, architecture and transport RB, Ural office of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision and the Bashkortostan’s Republican organization of the Trade-Union of workers of oil and gas branches, the National Welding and Control Agency, the Union of Machinists RB, the Saint-Petersburg’s and the North-Western regional Welders Alliance, the “Saint-Petersburg’s Certification Center”, the Union of Timber Merchants and Timber Exporters of Russia and JSC “CENTERLESEXPO”.

More than 80 producers and purveyors from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Kirov, Kazan, Nizhniy Novgorod, Chelyabinsk and other Russian cities and from Republic of Bashkortostan too are taking part in the forum.

The exhibition will be working till October 30.
