Bashkortostan’s custom house holds the third place in Volga federal district by transfers to the budget

From the beginning of this year Bashkir custom house transferred more than 8,6 billion rubles of customs duties to the federal budget, the head of Bashkortostan’s custom house Nazip Galikeev reported.

“The Bashkortostan’s custom house holds the third place in Volga federal district by such index as the transfer of customs duties to the budget” – he said.

For nine months 2009 the external circulation of Bashkortostan made 1936 million USD, i.e. by 40% less than in 2008.

As Nazip Galikeev reported, the fivefold exceeding of export over import and orientation to non-CIS countries, which share made 70% of the overall trade turnover, were the main features of the external trade in 2009.

Fuel-energy complex products dominate in Bashkir export – 43%, the share of chemicals is equal to 22,6%, machine-building – 19,4% and machine-building products – 9,8%.

Machine-building production prevails in the regional import and its share makes 78,7%.

The number of the participants of external economic activity reduced by 134 legal persons and made 653. The first ten of the biggest participants of external economic activity remains the same – JSC “SALAVATNEFTEORGSINTEZ”, JSC “NOVOUFIMSKY Refinery”, JSC “UMPO”, JSC “BELORETSKY Metallurgical Plant”, JSC “UFAORGSINTEZ”, JSC “UFANEFTEHIM” and some others.
