JSC “BASHNEFT” has exported 534 thousand tons of oil products in September

In September 2009 JSC “BASHNEFT” has exported 534 thousand tons of oil products, including 149 thousand tons of diesel fuel with sulfur content at 10 ppm.

The first consignment of oil products at the rate of 20 thousand tons has been exported in June 2009. In July the company shipped off 218 thousand tons and 518 thousand tons – in August. The news-service of the company reports the volume of export shipping grew up by 3% in September, as compared with August 2009.

“Our company is a very young exporter of oil products because we started export shipping just in June 2009, earlier we exported only crude oil” – General Director of JSC “BASHNEFT” Viktor Khoroshavtsev says – “Nonetheless the volume of our export shipping already exceeds 500 thousand tons monthly and we don’t exclude further growth of export in case of additional requests and if the balance of netbacks between the internal and external markets remains economically attractive for us”.
