Problems of power-engineering are under discussion in Ufa

The IX power-engineering forum, the XV international specialized exhibition “Ural power-engineering-2009”, the VII specialized exhibition “Energy-saving”, the IV exhibition “Cables, wires and fittings” and the I specialized exhibition “Electrical and illuminating engineering” are opened in Ufa. All expositions are located in the main building of the hippodrome “AKBUZAT”. The exhibitions are organized by the Bashkir Exhibition Company, Exhibition Centre “Bashkortostan” and Trade-Industry Chamber RB with assistance of Russian Ministry of power-engineering, Ministry of industry and external economic relations RB and JSC “BASHKIRENERGO”.

“Ural power-engineering-2009” is one of the largest exhibition and the main power-engineering Ural forum.

The representative of Russian Ministry of power-engineering Anatoly Gandulakov has said at the opening ceremony that these expositions are the instrument of realization of the country’s power-engineering policy. The problems of energy-saving are very urgent today – the usage of energy-saving technologies allows to reduce the costs for mining operations. Science and production meet each other at such exhibitions and this union enables new directions in development of power-engineering.

More than 130 enterprises from 23 Russian regions take part in the exhibitions.
