Bashkortostan is interested in development of entry tourism

Regular flights along the route “Istanbul-Ufa-Istanbul” were opened in March, 2009. The flow of passengers is raising all the time but these are mostly business trips. “Our task is to increase the inflow of tourists from Bashkortostan to the ancient capital of the world – the city of Istanbul” – the regional director of “Turkish Airlines” I Ufa Erkan Inje says – “In August we’ve organized the reconnaissance trip to Istanbul for representatives of Bashkir tourist agencies. In December we intend to start the tour to Izmir”.

As M-r Inje said, in spite of the last flood Istanbul remains as beautiful and attractive for tourists as always. His main historical districts haven’t suffered from the flood and the districts, partially destroyed by the act of God, are fully restored.

“We’d like to increase the number of tourists from Turkey too” – M-r Inje said – “I live in Bashkortostan for rather a long time and know there are many places of interest here too and I think your Russian winter with her traditional funs will be of high interest for foreigners. I do believe tourism should be developed in all directions”.
