The XI international timber forum is held in Saint-Petersburg. The forecast of industrial production development in forestry from the point of view of new global challenges in the timber market became the main topic of the forum as well as the problems, arising in the branch due to the global financial crisis.

More than 100 forestry specialists – representatives of “ROSLESKHOZ” and Russian regions – are taking part in the forum. Republic of Bashkortostan is presented by the deputy Minister of forestry RB Rajap Nabiullin, the news-service of Ministry of forestry RB reports.
