Ufa’s refineries increase production of engine fuels

The group of Ufa’s refineries increased production of engine fuels by 6,14% in September. In particular, the output of engine fuels in JSC “UFANEFTEHIM”, JSC “NOVOIL” and JSC “Ufa’s Refinery” made up 1482,2 thousand tons in September, i.e. by 6,14% more, as compared with the indices of August 2009.

At that the volume of “Euro” diesel fuel production at Ufa enterprises grew up in September, as compared with August, and made up 695,1 thousand tons. At the same time the output of benzenes reduced to 431 thousand tons, the news-service of the enterprise reports.

The volume of oil intake at Ufa’s refineries increased by 9,12% in September 2009, as compared with August 2009, and made up 1959,4 thousand tons.

“The growth of load at Ufa’s refineries is connected with conclusion of oil contracts, signed by JSC “BASHNEFT” with “Shell” and “LUKOIL” – the General Director of JSC “BASHNEFT” Viktor Khoroshavtsev says –“The rise of oil deliveries to the plants leads in its turn to higher output of engine fuels but the reduction of benzene output is explained by the market tendencies: the demand in engine fuel in the internal markets goes down, so we consider the growth of sales should come through the growth of oil products export and diesel fuel faces high demand in this direction, that’s why the Ufa’s group of refineries has reoriented itself towards the rise of diesel fuel production in September”.
