Congresses “CITOGIC-2009” and nanotechnologies and high-tech exhibition to be held in Ufa at the same time

The Congress "CITOGIC-2009", the Congress of nanotechnologies and the high-tech exhibition will be held in Ufa on September 22-26. “Per se this is not just one event but three actions, held at one scene and one time” – the deputy chairman of Trade-Industry Chamber RB Alexei Nikin reported at today’s news-conference in the news-agency “Bashinform”. The Ufa Congress-Hall will be the site of all three actions.

The congress of nanotechnologies will be opened in the first turn. Since the scientific achievements in this sphere can find the widest usage in industry, different branches will be demonstrated in the Congress-Hall: microelectronics, machine-building etc. The delegation of the state corporation “ROSNANO” will take part in the forum with its infrastructural activity director Eugene Evdokimov at the head, as it is expected. The scientific community will be presented by 200 scientists from more than 30 countries. The program of the nanotechnological Congress includes the symposium on the problems of spacious nanostructural materials and thematic “round tables”.

The Congress “CITOGIC-2009” is the annual international congress, introducing new technologies in oil and gas industry, power-engineering and communication. The forum will be dedicated to the strategic directions of Russia’s development as a world power-engineering state. The congress is held under patronage of Russian President and under the aegis of UNO Committee on industrial development. Russian Academy of technological sciences, JSC “GASPROM” and several biggest oil and gas, building and financial corporations of the country come out as its organizers. Participation of “GASPROM” top-managers is expected there. The congress will be held in Ufa for the second time. For the first time the capital of Bashkortostan had received the participants of “CITOGIC” ten years ago. After that the forum was held in Astrakhan, Kazan, Tomsk, Saint-Petersburg and Khanty-Mansiysk.

The First specialized high-tech exhibition is dated to both congresses and its subject-matter is very various: oil-chemical industry, biology, ecology, machine-building, metal-cutting, aviation and space, communication and telecommunication systems, IT and nanotechnologies, power-engineering.
